2. Description of Service

SoapBox is a faith community platform designed for two audiences:

• End Users (Believers & Explorers) — College students and young adults exploring or growing in faith through community, prayer, journaling, and devotional content. Privacy mode available to all users.
• Church Admins / Pastors — Tools to manage church members, giving, sermons, and visitor follow-up.

The Service includes: community groups (Circles), a prayer wall, S.O.A.P. journaling, devotional tracks, the ORA AI companion, church discovery, giving management, and related features.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You may not share your account or allow others to use it.
• You must notify us immediately at support@soapboxsuperapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

SoapBox is a community built on respect, faith, and grace. You agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory
• Share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate
• Impersonate another person, church, or organization
• Spread misinformation, spam, or promotional content without authorization
• Attempt to access other users' private data, accounts, or journal entries
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Service without permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these standards, at our sole discretion.

5. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of content you create — prayer requests, journal entries, community posts, and messages are yours.

By submitting content to public areas of SoapBox (prayer wall, community groups, feeds), you grant SoapBox a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service.

Private content — including your S.O.A.P. journal entries and ORA conversations — is never shared with other users or used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not share anything you would not want others to see in public areas of the app.

6. ORA AI Companion

ORA is SoapBox's AI-powered faith companion, designed to provide spiritual guidance, scripture reflection, and prayer support. By using ORA, you acknowledge:

• ORA is an AI tool — not a licensed counselor, therapist, or ordained minister.
• ORA's responses should not be treated as professional medical, legal, or psychological advice.
• In a crisis or emergency, please contact emergency services (911) or a crisis helpline.
• Your conversations with ORA are private and not shared with other users. See our Privacy Policy for how AI queries are processed.
• We continuously improve ORA, and responses may change over time.

7. Church Admin Features

Church admins and pastors using SoapBox's administrative tools agree to:

• Use member data only for legitimate church ministry purposes
• Not export, sell, or misuse member contact information
• Comply with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction
• Accurately represent your church or ministry when registering
• Be responsible for any giving data, member records, or communications sent through SoapBox on behalf of your church

8. Donations & Payments

SoapBox facilitates online giving through Stripe. When you make or receive donations through SoapBox:

• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• SoapBox does not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Churches are responsible for providing accurate donation receipts to donors for tax purposes.
• SoapBox is not responsible for errors in giving records submitted by church administrators.
• Refund requests for donations should be directed to the church admin or to support@soapboxsuperapp.com.

9. Intellectual Property

All SoapBox branding, design, code, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content) are the intellectual property of SoapBox Super App and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not use the SoapBox name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

SoapBox integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), Apple Push Notifications, and Twilio (SMS). Your use of these features is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

SoapBox is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content within the Service, including ORA AI responses, church directory listings, or user-submitted content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoapBox Super App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid SoapBox (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Account Deletion & Termination

You may delete your account at any time directly within the app at Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all associated data including your profile, journal entries, prayer requests, community posts, and memberships are removed immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

You do not need to contact us or send an email to delete your account. In accordance with Apple App Store guidelines, account deletion is available in-app at all times.

We may suspend or terminate your access to SoapBox at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Barbara County, California.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll notify you via a push notification or in-app banner. Your continued use of SoapBox after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
